Macworld 2008 Another year, another show...
Another year, another show. But WHAT a show it was! From record numbers of attendees and exhibitors, to another world-changing keynote and product introductions, to capacity crowds in our conference sessions, to an incredible week of networking, parties and making new contacts, Macworld Conference & Expo 2008 definitely succeeded in channeling the excitement and enthusiasm that the Mac market is riding now. I want to thank all of our attendees for the passion and excitement you bring to the show - Macworld exists and evolves because of the energy you bring every year. I'd also like to thank our amazing conference faculty - your enthusiasm for sharing your experiences, research, projects, and expertise make learning face to face at Macworld a fun thing. You give the show a soul grounded in quality and intellect that make this so much more than a just a "tradeshow." And finally I'd like to thank our sponsors and exhibitors - Macworld is all about cool products. Always has been, always will be. The ever growing community of Apple product developers continues to push the envelope to create products that enrich people's lives. I thank you for bringing your genius to Macworld to share your work each year. To all of you, my sincerest gratitude for making this week in January something so special.
The team is already working on ways to make next year - the 25th anniversary of Macworld - an even better experience. Cutting down on lines and wait times, accommodating more people in our sessions, finding better means of communicating show news and information, and just in general coming up with new ways to put a smile on your face to help you enjoy the "cool technology conference" are the top of our agenda as we continue to refine and improve the show. I can't wait to show you what we come up with!
